Hello, I am new here.  I live in Bristol, UK.
I am a Hyperacusis and Tinnitus sufferer and I am desperately looking for some help and advice.

Any advice would be much appreciated.

Thanks, Christine

Hi Christine,

There are ways through these challenges, and many around here are doing better than they were at one time.

There following  website that has a lot of good information,
(including some articles that can be downloaded, and also some excerpts from a book on TRT, that can be downloaded as well.)

http://www.tinnitus.org/home/frame/THC1.htm
The Tinnitus and Hyperacusis Centre: home of TRT

and there is also alot of information to be found by clicking on the link at the top of this page on the left -  that says
"The Hyperacusis Network"

If you post in the "New Messages" section of this board, you may get more replies, as I think more people read that part of this  forum, or check it more frequently.

Wishing you better days,
aQB

Christine,

For Tinnitus I suggest your read this article....
http://www.ameriforce.net/PDF/rng_sept07/RNGSept07p38-39.pdf

Alternative treatment like homeopathy, Gingko biloba & Vitamin B suppliment has helped me reduce Tinnitus and Recruitment. But it takes time and patience to make it work so stay on track and don't expect immediate results.
